Terrible customer service and Returns...

I ordered the hayward pump on Thursday June 1st 2023 . The ordering was easy i ordered online so I did not talk with anyone. It turned out that my pump was not broke so I called to cancel, the man I spoke with at the call center had a attitude and just not real friendly. I told him that I wanted to cancel the order as it was still processing his response was I can't cancel till the package is shipped. THIS MADE NO SENSE TO ME. I asked again to make sure, I heard correctly . So on Friday it was still processing Saturday the customer service number said that are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday the pump was delivered. I called today Monday June 5 2023 to get the return label this is when they informed me that I had to pay to send it back. I HAD TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING ON A PRODUCT I TRIED TO CANCEL. The rep today told me that I have 5 to 15 minutes to cancel . I will not buy from this company ever again for anything.Be cautious when making a order you may still have to pay for the product even when you cancel or follow customer service

I must agree with an earlier reviewer.... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a pool pump and it quit working within 3 months. Calling cusomer service was a total nightmare, I was put off, ignored, lied to, etc., etc. To use the "warranty" on the pump, I would have to send the pump back to them before they would send a new one (I am in Texas and it was late May... you don't leave a pool with no pump for several days or you end up with a murky swamp). I won't go into full details, but after two months of arguing with them, I finally got a 75% refund for the original pump I purchased.

Repeat: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are crooked and will do everything in their power to cheat you out of your money. To top it off, the "customer service" representative I spoke to today told me it was her birthday, so she didn't want to hear my problem!!! She also told me the department I had been dealing with previously doesn't even exist!

Do not use this company!! I purchased a cartridge filter that cost over $650 dollars from them. It arrived broken. Per their return instructions on their website, I shipped it back to them. It costed me $129.00. When customer service called me regarding the return, I mentioned the cost of shipping. They told me that there was nothing they could do…not even extending store credit for my expenses. I will never give them another dime and I suggest you don’t either…or take the risk of getting damaged merchandise and eating the return cost.
