After 9 months I wanted to end my contract and get a prorated refund as stated in my contract. They told me that I can’t get a refund unless it was within the First 30days. My contract did not say that.

I would not recommend this service. They don’t follow the contract and my computer still ran slow even with their service and support

Same here tried to call mcafee ended up with quikbay. They call me daily and yell and me because I won't install their app. I was lucky enough to have a good credit card that I reported it too. After I demanded a refund and was told I could have a discount. I got the charge remove from my card. I am waiting on the for the credit card company to finalize it then they will be blocked and deleted. Call your card company and have them send a new card so they can't charge you again so glad I did. Zero stars

This company is a scam pretending to be mcafee just to get money from me for virus protection. Called number on google and thought it was mcafee real number. Was told that they are trying to save me money but ends up costing me to cancel card and panic. They should be shut down and investigated especially by mcafee the real company. Am canceling all the bs virus crap and going with another reputable company . Still waiting on refund from them . Please be cautious with this fraudulent business that have no morals or no idea how to operate a honest business. Buyers beware! Scammers, scam, scam likely folks!

Zero stars. What a scam! I'm lucky that I only lost $180 since I see that other people lost over $300. I informed Walmart, and they have never heard of the company, and When I got the real McAfee phone number they said it was probably a scam--sure was. I called my bank immediately and canceled my credit card, but the bank allowed the payment to go through 5 days after I reported the fraud. Qikbay says that they will refund my money when I send back a refund email, which I did, and then they told me they couldn't do anything until a canceled the fraud from my bank. I hope people are ready these reviews and doing some research before they lose money too.

I got the same runaround from this company. I wanted the charge to be from McAfee and they said they were an affiliate of McAfee. I said I don't care, but the guy was a pro at giving me the runaround and I finally gave in after arguing for half an hour. I just wanted to renew my McAfee. It's still not cleared up. I immediately put a fraud alert on my credit card and they are cancelling my card and generating a new one to send me. They will investigate the fraud charge, and I don't know what is up with that yet as I just called them. The charge already showed up but the supervisor at Qikbay said the charge won't be activated until I install the protection. I said then there's no problem, and he was stymied at my reply so he said no problem. That remains to be seen. IT'S A SCAM, DON'T FALL FOR IT!

This just happened to me and I am not confused ., I let the guy on my PC after paying $379 for a 3 year what looks legit McAfee plan . I called what i thought was Mcafee # 18887452291 which is really Qikbay . I let this guy ( Tom Forster) which the more i think about his name and accent concerns me . But when i click om my McAfee logo it shows 3 years , they also installed Qikfox which seems legit . Now reading all of these i am not sure what is going on and who to trust . I will have one of my friends that a tech guy look at what just happened . Its been 1 day and everything so far looks to be running good , i just don't know if i will see money missing from my checking acct or my credit card being used by someone other than me .

Absolute scam of a company. Was trying to re-new mcafee and got qikbay number instead. Started to google their name and billing company name. Read bad reviews while still on the phone with rep, told him he did not have permission to run my card and I change my mind on using them. Was told ok no problem. Get a notification from my bank 10min later on fraud alert. The asshats still ran my my damn card. No legitimate business would that. Definitely a scamming price of shit company.

scammed by these folks representing themselves as avast support, lost $ 300 now they are threatening me to take $ 6000 out of my acount

I went through the same thing called the number on the McAfee reminder that kept popping up saying my 30 day subscription would be up and I needed to renew it so my computer would be protected said it would be $19.99 or something like that I don't quit remember now but then I got a notice saying my computer had a virus when I called them they said install the wrong antivirus and had to purchase the $180.00 program to be protected then today I got a call from somebody else saying they were McAfee and they wanted to take control of my computer which I didn't do I just hung up on him. So who do you trust? Everybody is scamming today

Total scam. I was told my mcafee was outdated and I had been hacked by 9 different websites. I was told mcafee wouldn't work with my computer. Total lies. Don't let them into your computer

Me too. Thought I was talking to Mcafee as I got their number from within their app. Trying to renew. Paid the $180 for 3 years..at least I gotcNcafee renewed. Do not trust Qikbay or qikfox.

I called Mcafee and thought I was speaking with them. The person talked me sign up for a three year protection at a discount for $180.000. When I got the charge bill

thinking it was going to be mcafee, it was a totally different company and address. (qikbay). I assumed it was a scam because it was not the company I expected to receive the bill from. I called my credit card and I cancelled it. A month later I get a bill that says qikbay is a legitimate company. Now, I have to pay both virus protection companies which is not what I wanted to do. I want to jut keep my mcafee protection and not deal or have anything to do with qikbay. I would like them to drop the charges since I already had paid mcafee.

SCAM OCCURED: I called McAfee to notify them about a letter to me with a charge. From their company. The person from the number of McAfee said he was tech for Norton and McAfee. False representation by the email he sent me. I did believe him. My fault falling for that. Right away he started to check my computer and said my computer need cleanup bad. It was very scary and let him tell me about qikbay to clean what was wrong. I have Norton , I stpped the tech from finishing or he was in the middle of whatever bullcrap cleanup.. I called Noton and they said it was a scam. I had both on the phone merged, I told the tech at Qikbay I closed him off and want a refund. He said he will send an email , I can reply refund and they will take care of it. This was not done so I emailed them for refund and no reply yet.

Not a fan with the way they do business.
